Within the framework of the oversight role of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities on the various tourism activities in the Egyptian governorates at the level of the Republic, the committee formed by the General Directorate of Diving and Marine Activities in the Ministry, and the Diving and Maritime Activities Chamber, passed and inspected 85 diving centers, 25 centers for marine activities, and 9 safari yachts in South Governorate. Sinai for periodic follow-up of their activities in preparation for renewing the licenses granted to them by the Ministry.
The committee also conducted a tourist inspection of two safari yachts and 12 centers for mountain safari bikes, in preparation for issuing the necessary licenses for them.
Mohamed Amer, Head of the Central Administration for Hotel Establishments, Shops and Tourist Activities at the Ministry, explained that the work of the committee resulted in the issuance of two decisions to suspend the work of two technical directors due to violations in their diving centers, and it was found that there were some observations on 10 diving centers and 3 safari yachts, for which the necessary measures will be taken. To follow them up to avoid these notes.
This is in addition to the committee warning a number of those who exploit the one-day cruises and alerted them to quickly go to the General Directorate of Diving and Marine Activities in the Ministry to quickly complete the procedures for obtaining a tourist permit, and they were also handed over the forms and documents required to obtain this permit.
He also indicated that an approval was issued to grant a license to one of the mountain safari bike centers, making it the first center to obtain this license in Egypt, after fulfilling all the requirements and procedures stipulated in Ministerial Resolution No. (147) of 2021 regarding regulating the activity of mountain safari bikes.
