In framework of electing Matrouh as the capital of Egyptian culture, Matrouh Culture Branch established " Beach Creativity “ Forum on the summer Theater on Corniche, where Mustafa Kamel Ensemble for Arabic Music and Matrouh Folklore Arts Troupe presented a collection of songs and tableaus that gained the admiration of audience.
It is worthy of note that for seizing summer vacation, a workshop, for children of Al Bara'im Nursery, was organized to enhance the talents of children and to stimulate their artistic talents in Children's Culture Palace in Matrouh.
Plus, Badia Club in Matrouh held a poetry evening for Bedouin poets,
presenting some of the Bedouin folkloric arts:- Shatwa, Taq – that
were inspired of the folkloric heritage of Matrouh to preserve it not
to be lost.
