It is this time of the year when Cairo Marriott is pleased to welcomeitsloyal guestsat the Palace for a legendary sohour. This year a hidden Gem was revealed introducing the stunning Pool Deck with the Palace view as a backdrop. Theme for the night wasNawaret El Qasr a welcoming message that goes back to the golden era of Modern Egypt when Khedive Ismail decided to celebrate his three sons and only daughter wedding ceremony, known as Afrah El Angal.Green and gold was the color code to match the theme.Not any less than Afrah El Angalin authenticity was Cairo Marriott’s Sohour event.
Receiving guests was General Manager of the hotelMr. Khaled Al Jamal with Sales and Marketing leaders and team.
Superstar of The Voice Program, Aly El Alfy took the guests to a totally different atmosphere with his charming voice and unique presence while singing a collection of old Tarab songs and oriental tunes. El Nafikha band took the stage and started amusing the guestswith theirone of a kind medleys.As everyone was interacting with the music, the spiritual vibes of the Holy Month was felt in the air.
The fortuneteller unveiled the hidden secrets for a lot of the attendees while reading them their palms.
When it came to sohour time, Cairo Marriott’s chefs did not fail to exceed expectations and came up with the great specials Cairo Marriott is known for.
Upon departure, guests were treated with a one of a kind giveaway reflecting the Palace’ history, Nawaret El Qasr candle to lighten their spaces and a brochure telling the story of Afrah El Angal.
