A new initiative to inspire the young generation with what the hospitality industry has to offer, our Executive Chef Dimitrios along with his experienced kitchen team gave 26 children from the ages of 5 to 6 years old the chance to see how a real hotel kitchen works.
From the duties of the cold kitchen to the utensils used for food preparation the kids got to see a real kitchen team in action ready to serve a 771 bedroom hotel. After the tour of the kitchen the children had the chance to prepare a pie from scratch, to creatively decorate fruit platters and to taste different ingredients used for cooking which made it an engaging day for all!
This is part of Ramses Hilton’s continuous effort to support the young Egyptian generation and to serve the local community.
