A report that was published by tourism development council
In Egypt ensured the percentage of the Arab and foreigners taking part in touristic investments which are under supervision of the tourism ministry is 8.5% and the rest 19.5% represent Egyptian capitals.
The total of touristic centers numbers in Egypt reach 51 centers that include 546 projects and their hotel power is about 38 thousand and 835 hotel room. 35 thousand and 800 room have been finished with invest mental cost 7.1 milliard pounds and 302 milliard pound spent in achieving infrastructure-utilities the report pointed that this projects saved about 170 thousand and 450 new work chance for youth.
Mentioned the hotel power total under publishing in Egypt now is about 52 thousand and 884 room with invest mental cost 10-7 milliard pound and there is a plan by the tourism ministry aims to make the hotel power size to 315 thousand hotel room with invest mental cost 63 milliard pound and provide million new work chance for youth in 2017.
The report pointed that infrastructure and utilities projects are considered corner stone in tourism development.
And the mentioned main and branch roods system extend in tourism areas which reach their length to 445 km at a cost 335 million pound, electricity web at a cost 960 million pound, desalination stations at 212 and dams to protect from floods at 55 million pounds.
