As part of its continuous support of 57357 Children Cancer Hospital, the Cairo Marriott Hotel participated in 57357 Children Cancer Hospital Forum. The forum is designed to highlight the role of businessmen, big companies and enterprises to support civil society projects. The event was held at the hospital headquarters and was attended by Dr. Ghada Wali, Minister of Social Solidarity and top management of reputable organizations and banks.
Dr. Ghada Wali announced the allocation of 10 thousand square meters to the hospital to establish a 5 stars hotel to accommodate the families of the children. She emphasized that the trio of the government, civil society and the public sector is the base of development and success for any project through mutual cooperation and trust. As part of the Marriott International initiative “Spirit to Serve” the community philosophy and the ongoing partnership with CCHE, Cairo Marriott has been supporting and funding CCHE for the past 5 years and pushing lots of efforts to assist the children and the hospital in the journey to achieve total cure.
During the Forum Dr. Sherif Abo El Naga, Chairman of the Board of Directors in CCHE, highlighted some new developments at the hospital that will boost the cure rates from 72% to 80% within three years through the quality of a therapeutic and a training plan, scientific research and preventive campaigns.
