As part of Marriott International values and beliefs in the “Spirit to Serve” the community and believing in its role to support the Egyptian community, the Cairo Marriott Hotel & Omar Khayyam Casino signed a protocol agreement with Ebtessama Foundation.
Ebtessama is a foundation that aims to train and develop people with disabilities to qualify them for work opportunities in the field of employment advising, rehabilitation and preparation, as well as providing them with adequate work opportunities in the field of tourism and hotels.
The Cairo Marriott hotel will be cooperating with Ebtessama Foundation to provide an on job training for young people with disabilities in some of the departments of the hotel such as housekeeping, food & beverage, general kitchen, staff cafeteria, laundry and staff locker. By the end of their training the hotel will evaluate the trainees and will be providing them with a certificate stating the completion of the training and certifying the trainee’s abilities regarding serious productive work.
