The Cairo Marriott Hotel hosted the world Kite Surfing champion Karolina Winkowska. The main aim of Karolina’s visit was to sign a sponsorship agreement with the Egyptian Tourism Authority to promote Egypt the Land of Pharaohs and its kite surfing wonderful locations.
A press conference was held at Eugenie Salon at the Cairo Marriott Hotel. During the press conference Mr. Nasser Hamdy Chairman of the Egyptian Tourism Authority announced that Karolina is going to be Egypt’s new kite surfing ambassador which will have a great impact on promoting tourism to Egypt. As part of her new role as an ambassador she will be featuring Egyptian Tourism Authority’s logo on her kite surfing uniform, board, kite and her car in Poland as well.
The press conference was attended by H.E the Minister of Tourism HeshamZaazou. In his speech he valued this cooperation as a fruitful initiative and announced that next June, Egypt will be hosting the PKRA World Cup (The Red Sea Kitesurf World Cup 2014).
