Zohair Garanah, Egyptian Minister of Tourism met with Chinese chairman of tourism promotion body, Tchow Kiou and discussed with him the ways of promoting touristc cooperation between Egypt and China and how to increasing the number of Chinese tourists coming to Egypt.
On his part, Garanah assured that China has become one of the states that achieved a remarkable increase whether in the number of tourists or in the touristic nights being spent by those tourists in Egypt.
"The ministry does its best to attract more Chinese tourists and remove all the obstacles that could stand against that goal" said Garanah.
He also referred to the growth witnessed by Chinese restaurants in various touristic areas in Egypt as well as the desire of many of those who work in tourism field to learn Chinese.
"Egyptian touristic sector shows interest in the quality of services provided to the tourist in general and Chinese tourist in particular." Added Garanah
On the other hand, the Chinese official pointed out that Egypt has become a unique and special touristic estination for the Chinese tourists to the extent that visiting Egypt became a dream for a lot of people in China.
