Earth Hour at the Cairo Marriott Hotel

Earth Hour at the Cairo Marriott Hotel

Cairo Marriott Hotel & Omar El Khayyam Casino participated with thousands of cities worldwide in celebrating Earth Hour this year.
The event of switching off non-essential lights on the 26th of March of each year at 08:30 P.M. for one hour was aimed at promoting awareness globally to fight climate change and protecting the world’s natural resources.
During Earth Hour 2011, Cairo Marriott Hotel dimmed all the principal lightings of the hotel and most of the hotel guests also joined in the event by switching off their room lights for an hour.
To mark this climate change awareness cause; the hotel served an organic dinner at Tuscany Restaurant on that night.
