In the beginning of November, the Golf Championship "Italiano" finished in the Red Sea Governorate under the supervision of tourism activation.
Mohamed Abdel Gabar our touristic expert in Italy has ensured that golf is a kind of distingishing tourism which attract many people to watch its matches and it is a new sort of tourism with International descriptions in Cairo, Sharm El-Sheikh, Luxor and Hurghada, and added that this sportive event is one of the items in the Egyptian touristic agenda. He pointed that was the second time for that championship which was held in "Stella de Mare" resort last year.
The Italian Tourism in Egypt began to refresh the percentage of Italian tourists increased in the period from January to September 2007 about 22.1% if we compare to the same time last year. Abdel Gabar expects the number of Italian tourists will be increased at the end of this year to reach more than million tourist as a result of Italy return to the first place in the big countries list which expert tourists in 2007.
Hurghada has become one of the most important touristic resorts on The Red Sea Coast and an International Center of water sports swimming, fishing, sailing, skiing and diving.
Hurghada a desert Oasis
Hurghada has an old history. It was known "Hurghada" means "a desert oasis". It is a quiet city welcomes its visitors from allover the world and invites them to enjoy its hotels about 2509 hotel, in addition to relaxing on its beaches and water sports like sailing, overseas fishing, floating swim and diving.

"El Ahyaa region" is extended from north of Hurghada, South of Gouna to El Dahaar region about 22 kilometre along the coast. There are few people in that place.
Hurghada is the destination of the tourists because of its magic water environment which is rich with coral reefs and it has a big touristic future, the building and establishing continue all time.
Hurghada was able to attract the investors and the tourist, there are big numbers of people from Upper Egypt and they work a settle there.
"A Look on El Gouna"
El Gouna is a suburb located 21 Kilometre out of Hurghada and it is considered one of the most famous touristic resorts on The Red Sea Coast it is extended with its islands and water canals about 10 thousand cubic kilometre, its houses have domes like human bodies wearing different colours. It was designed as spreading areas drawn in greenish without fences. Each area has a style "Arabic, Islamic, Indian, African, American and Latin".
The unbelievable thing, but is true that this place is less than ten years old. This project has been built by the idea of the Egyptian investor "Sameh Sawerus" in 1990 and it began to be established in 1996 when one hotel was built in the middle of the desert North of Hurghada city, now El Gouna area has high quality services from roads system a number of different hotel golf Court.
